Tolga Ahmet Kalaycı received his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2008 and his Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University in 2011. With over 11 years of experience, including 6 years in the e-commerce sector, he has been actively working in various areas of technology and data science in the private sector. Currently, he serves as the Data Science Lead at Trendyol while pursuing his PhD thesis on artificial neural networks at the Istanbul Technical University’s Department of Industrial Engineering. In his academic career, he has published three international articles, one international conference paper, and contributed to a book chapter.
