The theme for this year’s Turkey Artificial Intelligence Summit, the country’s premier AI event, is “AI: The Real Deal.” The summit will be held in person on October 31 at the prestigious Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent and online on November 1, 2024, showcasing a dynamic lineup of activities, presentations, and panels.
It's time for the AI technologies we've dreamed about to become a reality. Artificial intelligence has transcended its science fiction origins and woven itself into the fabric of everyday life. AI technologies are now deeply embedded in nearly every sector, expanding their influence at an exponential rate. Today, some AI-powered systems have even started to pass the iconic Turing Test. These milestones illustrate that AI is not merely a technological innovation but also a catalyst for social and economic transformation. We must address its current impacts as well as its future potential.
The summit will serve as a premier platform to delve into why AI is so transformative, how it is advancing at such a rapid pace, and the current innovations in AI technologies. We will also explore what the future holds, offering a comprehensive understanding and discussion of AI’s immediate and long-term effects.

Founded in 2017, TRAI aims to elevate AI awareness and foster the AI ecosystem in Turkey. To date, it has directly engaged tens of thousands of people by organizing hundreds of events, including TRAI Meet-Ups, TRAI Summits, AI seminars and workshops, networking events, and demo days.
As of June 2024, the number of AI startups within TRAI’s ecosystem has soared to 350. TRAI facilitates connections between these startups and academia, the private sector, and international markets, helping them collaborate on projects, secure investment, and expand globally.
In addition to startups, more than 90 leading private sector companies are active participants in the TRAI ecosystem. We collaborate closely with these companies to drive the development and adoption of AI across Turkey. We organize the country’s largest AI summit and foster connections between our AI ecosystem and other leading global ecosystems. Since 2017, we have significantly contributed to Turkey’s position in the global AI race and continue to push the boundaries.
