Fikri Mert Kurum

Fikri Mert Kurum graduated from Işık University with a degree in Computer Engineering in 2007 and has over 15 years of experience in the technology sector. He completed his MSc in Computer Engineering from Boğaziçi University in 2013 and attended the Executive Education program at Harvard Business School the same year. He began his career as a software engineer at Alcatel-Lucent, contributing to Small Cell – Femto Cell projects before the launch of 3G in Turkey.

At Alcatel-Lucent, he progressed to roles such as Pre-Sales Manager and Key Account Manager, participating in both national and international projects. In 2015, he joined Cisco as a Public Sector Account Manager, working on data center, security, and video conferencing projects. In 2019, he transitioned to ULAK Communications as Sales and Business Development Manager.

In 2021, he co-founded Skyloop Cloud with Yavuz Aksu, focusing on providing cloud consultancy and services as an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner.
