Ezgi Yıldız

Ezgi Yildiz Gallerist, Art Professional, Curator After completing her undergraduate studies in Painting Education, Ezgi Yildiz worked as an assistant to Yahsi Baraz at Galeri Baraz from 2009 to 2011, where she was involved in archival work for books to be published by Baraz Publications. From 2011 to 2015, she served as the Director of Kare Art.

During this time, she wrote exhibition critique articles for Istanbul Art News newspaper. Yildiz was the Director of Uniq Gallery from 2017 to 2019, during which she co-curated notable exhibitions such as “Kimin Sanat Tarihi” and “Kesik ve Çukur”. In addition to her role as a gallery director, she has also engaged in independent projects. In 2018, she worked as the Project Director for Murat Balci’s first solo exhibition. From 2019 to 2022, as the Director of Martch Art Project, she curated and designed the exhibition “Dancing Into One” in a non-gallery space in Balat and co-curated and managed the design and coordination o the pop-up exhibition “Kürklü Venüs” curated by Can Akgümüs in another non-gallery space. In 2022, Ezgi Yildiz established her own gallery, KAIROS, at Pera, where she continues her career by representing 14 national and international artists.
