Co-one

Born in Izmir, Mert graduated from the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Istanbul Technical University in 2018. He then completed his master’s degree in Engineering Management at the same university. During his university years, he won various awards in aerospace-themed engineering competitions around the world supported by NASA, APSCO and ESA.

In the first 5 years of his career, he worked as a Venture Capitalist and Program Engineer at Vestel. He took part in identifying the start-ups that Vestel invested in, growing the start-ups in the portfolio, sales and investment processes. He managed Vestel’s intrapreneurship programs and contributed to in-house innovative product development processes.

In 2021, he founded Co-one, which offers data-centric solutions using artificial intelligence and human power, with his university friend Arman. Co-one continuously analyzes more than 40 artificial intelligence models per month to increase the performance of artificial intelligence products developed by organizations, ensuring that the models work continuously and accurately.
