For more than a decade, Yusuf Sarıgöz has worked as an AI research engineer and AI scientist with teams in Türkiye and abroad, designing and training new architectures for generative AI models across text, image, and audio data, and optimizing them for web-scale workloads. A developer on many open-source projects, most notably GGUF / llama.cpp, he currently works at ALTAI on developing more efficient training and inference methods and on AI safety.
He is also a Google Developer Expert in Machine Learning and a recipient of the TensorFlow Best Contributor in Europe award.
