During 20 years with MIT Sloan, George continuously works to bridge the topics of technology innovation and executive leadership. A pioneer in the study of digital transformation, his award-winning books and articles give leaders the tools and confidence to thrive in the face of continual technology-driven market changes.
He has served as co-chair of the CIO leadership awards for more than 10 years, during which the program has achieved global recognition for its quality and relevance. Recently, George founded the Global Opportunity Initiative (http://goi.mit.edu) to help organizations – and the people they work with – gain the skills they need to grow. Prior to earning a Doctorate from Harvard Business School, he gained more than a dozen years of experience in product development and technology leadership roles. An accomplished speaker and advisor, George works frequently with executive teams and industry groups around the world.
