Prof. Dr. Alper Şen is a leading expert in artificial intelligence and software test automation who builds a strong bridge between academia and industry. Since 2009, he has been a professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Boğaziçi University, conducting research in artificial intelligence and software testing.
As the founder of Trailblu, which he established in 2020, he develops AI-powered test automation technologies by turning advanced academic expertise into practical, innovative solutions.
Before his academic and entrepreneurial career, Prof. Şen held key roles at leading technology companies in the United States, including Intel, Motorola, and Freescale, gaining extensive technology and industry experience. He received his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin, and his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Department of Computer Engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU).
