With more than 20 years of experience in information technology, Haluk Karakaya completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Kocaeli University and in Computer Engineering at Ahmet Yesevi University.
He began his career at the Turkish Naval Forces Command, working on critical communications and electronics systems within NATO and United Nations task groups. He then contributed to developing the infrastructure of Integrated Combat Management Systems for national naval vessels at the Naval Research Center Command. Moving into the private sector, he managed Unix/Linux systems for financial infrastructures at KoçSistem, Yapı Kredi, and Kredi Kayıt Bürosu (KKB). During his tenure at the global AI company Afiniti, Karakaya led the AI and GPU operations of technology companies headquartered in the United States, Italy, and France.
Through Infrasoft Bilişim Teknolojileri, the company he founded, Karakaya provides consulting services on enterprise cloud transformation and AI infrastructure for autonomous vehicles. He holds RHCE, RHCSA, and CKA certifications. Having rejoined Kredi Kayıt Bürosu in 2024, he currently serves as Cloud Services Manager.
