Dr. Sunghyun Park co-founded Rebellions and serves as CEO, leading the company’s development of purpose-built AI computing technology, bringing together expertise in semiconductor architecture, AI acceleration, and systems software.
Prior, he worked in some of the most demanding engineering environments in technology. At Morgan Stanley, he developed ultra-low-latency equity trading products. At SpaceX, he worked as an ASIC design engineer on the Starlink program, handling chip design and FPGA verification. At Samsung, he designed machine learning accelerators for latency-critical AR/VR applications, including a multi-frame blending ASIC that shipped in the Galaxy S9. He started his industry career at Intel Labs as a senior research scientist, working on IoT x86 processor design.
Park holds a Ph.D. and an S.M. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, where his research focused on low-power, high-performance networks-on-chip. He earned his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from KAIST with a minor in Mathematics, graduating first in his class.
