Mahmut Almas graduated from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at Boğaziçi University in 2008. He began his professional career at OTOKAR as a Systems Engineer on the ALTAY National Tank Development Project, and subsequently worked at ASELSAN on the HİSAR Air Defense System Development Project, RADNET Radar Networks Development Project, IFF MOD 5 Identification and Recognition System Development Project, and HAKİM National Air Command and Control System Development Project. After gaining project management experience at ASML, a Netherlands-based company, he returned to ASELSAN and continued his work in Project Management and Digital Transformation. He currently leads ASELSAN's transformation with Digital Technologies as the Director of Digital Transformation. In addition to his professional career, he earned a bachelor's degree from Gazi University Faculty of Law in 2015 and a master's degree in International Private Law in 2019. He is married and has two children.
