Bilge Köroğlu laid the foundation of her technical expertise by earning a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Computer Engineering at İhsan Doğramacı Bilkent University in 2010. She then continued with a master’s in the same department, specializing in information retrieval using machine learning techniques, with a particular focus on their practical applications in search engines. After joining Yapı Kredi Bank, she moved into a software development role leading projects in the finance sector, showcasing her skill in implementing artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms. By leading and mentoring various teams, she oversaw the successful application of advanced algorithms and techniques to financial data and led the development of comprehensive software solutions that effectively integrated cutting-edge technologies to advance the bank’s strategic goals. Over the past 12 years, she has further enhanced her technical and managerial capabilities by actively contributing to numerous national and EU projects. Today, she plays a significant role as a director within the Applied Artificial Intelligence and R&D Directorate at Yapı Kredi Bank in Turkey, and continues to work to foster innovation and excellence in the financial sector.
