Akın Okumuş is the Head of the NRW.Global Business Türkiye Office in İstanbul, representing the official trade and investment agency of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). For more than a decade, he has been dedicated to strengthening economic ties between NRW and Türkiye and has successfully accompanied over 500 Turkish companies in their investment and expansion projects in North Rhine-Westphalia. With several years of professional experience in Germany, he combines an in-depth understanding of both business cultures with a strong network in the Turkish industry. His current focus lies on expanding the activities of the Türkiye Office and fostering bilateral investment and trade relations between the two regions.
